The city is back to life these days. The roads are getting busy. There is one thing I don’t get with traffic. For some reason whenever I drive on a city road almost always a street car will appear in front of me and bring traffic to a standstill. It will stop at EVERY single stop halting the long line of cars behind it not allowing us to pass it as the red lights flash. For some reason this happens even more often when I’m in a rush.
I have noticed that on the occasion that I am a pedestrian and in a rush and am waiting for a street car to come it never does. Almost always a massive gap is formed between streetcars the moment I arrive at the station. I stand and wait and then step on the road to see if there is any sign for a streetcar heading our way.
How can both of these events exist simultaneously? Maybe this is the proof of quantum mechanics that one object can be in two different places at the exact same moment.
I think that my perspective helps create this phenomena. For instance, If I want to be somewhere urgently the street car appears in front of me to mock me. Yet, if I’m relaxed and chill the street car will not block my way. Teaching me to be happy no matter the outcome.
For example, I am happy no matter if the street car is clocking my way or not. No matter when I get to my destination.
Now I really want chocolate ice cream sitting comfortably in a waffle cone. I will be happy if I get the ice cream or not. Now I’m guaranteed that traffic will move quickly, or will it?
Much love,
Alon
